November, 5th, 2012
In Metro Vancouver there was a suspicious package found outside New Westminister skytrain last night and was seen as not a bomb but a metal pipe, wrapped in an electrical tape, with a wooden dowel inside.drennan said the item was examined and tested by RCMP and came to found not be an explosive device.Concern over the package forced police to shut down the station for about 30 minutes on Monday night, she said."The safety of our passengers continues to be our number one priority," she said, in a news release Tuesday. "Passengers will see an increased uniform presence on the transit system for the immediate future." this relates to Law 12 because it shows the safety and security of people in canada from terrorism.

This is a very interesting topic. I can see your point of view when you talk about how it relates to Law 12.

On the same day, another "explosive device" was found along the tracks to King George station. Do you think that these explosives were set by the same person looking to create traffic and backups?
ReplyDeleteThe fact that these "bomb" sightings are so close to home, and so close to where teens like us like to get together is really scary.

I take the skytrain everyday! even though it wasn't a bomb, it still created a huge hype and was really nerve-raking!
ReplyDeleteMany of us take the skytrain and it's really scary how some people do this regardless of if it's an explosive device or not.
