B.C. woman may lose home over huge lawyer bill



Yesterday , Dec.4, a B.C women stands to lose he home to her lawyer, who is moving to foreclose on her to pay his six-figure bill. where Fotsch got into the predicament after being sued by her former common-law husband, where she won the case and where the husband was to pay her costs. they had both divorced but where she needed to pay a load of different payments for the divorce. it also went through the Supreme court of Canada and Court Of Appeal. This article relates to Law 12 because it talks about the Supreme Court Of Canada and also the Court of Appeal which we learnt in Law 12, also it talks about divorce, which is a project i am currently researching on.

  2. Do you think it was right of the lawyer to lose her home to her lawyer?

    Seeing as she went through court cases in the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal, this seems like a fairly important case. Why did this case happen? How did it start?
